Gillis Gilkerson Welcomes New Director of Marketing and Development Associate
The Principals of Gillis Gilkerson (GGI) are pleased to announce the growth of their team with the addition of Tori Brown, Director of Marketing, and Kathy Shubert, Development Associate.
“Tori and Kathy bring a level of sophistication and efficiency to our team,” said Dwight Miller, President of Gillis Gilkerson. “In their new positions, both will play an instrumental role in elevating our operations and outreach as we continue to expand our footprint throughout the Delmarva region.”
As Director of Marketing, Brown will utilize her background in strategic communications to lead GGI’s marketing and branding initiatives. She is responsible for coordinating the company’s advertising and public relations while also spearheading the branding of select development projects. In addition to her role within Gillis Gilkerson, Brown will remain the Director of Marketing and Operations for NAI Coastal where she is also a licensed commercial real estate advisor.
“I am both excited and honored to be a part of the Gillis Gilkerson team,” said Brown. “I am looking forward to growing in this role and learning the construction and development industries as I help to promote the company’s work on the Shore. Gillis Gilkerson has completed some pretty transformative projects and it’s great to now be an official part of their process.”
Development Associate Kathy Shubert has been working alongside GGI’s development team since October of 2019. She is responsible for assisting in the management of active development projects in addition to maintaining the office’s database and assisting in company outreach. Shubert uses her well-established research and prospecting skills to source development opportunity on the Shore. The administrative support that she provides has become vital to daily operations.
“Working alongside the development team has been awesome,” said Shubert. “I feel lucky to be a part of such a dynamic team and am eager to assist as they grow and continue taking on new projects that truly enhance communities throughout Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.”
Meredith Mears, Chief Development Officer, works closely with Brown and Shubert on a daily basis.
