SALISBURY, MD – May 20, 2015 – Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted general contracting and construction management firms on Delmarva, announced construction is on schedule for an August completion date on The Gathering at Salisbury, a 50-unit student housing project at 1405 South Division Street, Salisbury, MD 21804.
“Despite the adverse weather that Mother Nature threw our way, we are on schedule with the student housing project,” said Dwight Miller, president, Gillis Gilkerson. “The roofing and frame work is complete on all seven buildings within the footprint and all fifty three-story townhomes will be completed by early August 2015 for students to move in before the new school year.”
Upon completion, The Gathering at Salisbury will offer 50 units (4 beds per unit, 200 beds total), exterior patios for each unit, a bus stop, a club house, pool, exercise area and computer lab.
