Gillis Gilkerson Hired to Upgrade Three Campgrounds for Blue Water Development Corporation

SALISBURY, MD – March 15, 2018 – Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted construction management and general contracting firms on Delmarva, announced it has been hired by Blue Water Development Corporation to make multiple upgrades to three campgrounds to convert them to Kampgrounds of America (KOA) status.

Chincoteague Islans KOA, Chincoteague, Virginia

Gillis Gilkerson will be installing a new wastewater treatment system to support the new Maui Jack’s water park. They will also provide miscellaneous site improvements to include a new group pavilion, safari tents, fencing, communal fire pit and patio, and multiple deluxe patios site for RV’s.

Massey’s Landing, Millsboro, Delaware

At Massey’s Landing GGI will install additional safari tents and deluxe patio sites, renovate the interior office and store and add a volleyball court, sidewalk, fire pit and patio. 

Sunset Beach Resort, Cape Charles, Virginia

At the Sunset Beach Resort in Cape Charles, Virginia, Gillis Gilkerson has been hired to install deluxe patio sites, fire pits and patios, safari tents, interior renovations, and other miscellaneous site improvements.
