Gillis Gilkerson Hired to Renovate Sussex Academy Charter School
SALISBURY, MD – May 4, 2015 – Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted general contracting and construction management firms on Delmarva, has announced it has won a competitive bid to renovate Sussex Academy charter school at 21150 Airport Road Georgetown, Delaware. The 21,844 square foot renovation will include the construction of a new cafeteria, kitchen, library, chemistry lab and stage.

Gillis Project Manager, Michael Truitt and Project Superintendent, Daryl Mitchell have started demolition on Phase 1 (chemistry lab, kitchen and cafeteria) which is scheduled to be complete by August, 2015 with the balance completed in December, 2015.
