Gillis Gilkerson Hired to build Choptank Community Health Center in Denton, Maryland
SALISBURY, MD – August 27, 2018 – Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted construction management and general contracting firms on Delmarva, announced it has been hired to build a new 20,797 square foot medical facility for Choptank Community Health Systems at 808 North 5th Street in Denton, Maryland.
The team broke ground on Monday, August 13, 2018. The new facility will house primary family medical care, pediatric medical, dentistry and behavioral health services. It will replace the current Denton Medical Center located on Daffin Lane.

Choptank Community Health Center will be a single-story building brick exterior and a metal roof complete with associated sitework. It is scheduled for completion summer, 2019.
