Gillis Gilkerson Hired to Build The Nest at Sussex Academy in Georgetown, Delaware
SALISBURY, MD – December 1, 2016 – Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted general contracting and construction management firms on Delmarva, announced it has been hired to build The Nest at Sussex Academy, a new athletic building, at 21150 Airport Road in Georgetown, Delaware.

We previously renovated the school’s lobby, stage, library and natatorium. We welcome the opportunity to grow our relationship as we help the school expand its offerings to meet the needs of the surrounding community.”
The 3,853 square foot building will include storage space for athletic equipment, rest rooms, equipped with ADA bathrooms and a concession stand. According to Gillis Gilkerson project manager, Michael Truitt the one floor structure with cement siding and a metal roof is scheduled to be complete within 90 days after all permits are approved and issued.
