Freshly Renovated Country Corners Market Re-Opens in Milford

SALISBURY, MARYLAND – April 13, 2022 – The Principals of Gillis Gilkerson (GGI) are pleased to announce the firm’s completion of renovations to Country Corners Market, a convenience store located at 508 South East 2nd Street in Milford, Delaware. The +/- 2,934 square foot retail building now features a fresh and modern interior designed to improve the overall client experience.

“The project went very well,” said Mark Baker, owner. “It’s not uncommon for extensive remodels to face unforeseen challenges, but Gillis Gilkerson stayed on schedule and delivered the end product to our satisfaction.”

Led by Project Manager Robin Steininger and Superintendent Darryl Mitchell, Gillis Gilkerson’s construction team completed the interior renovations in three months. The firm’s scope of work included the installation of new flooring and walls, a remodeled food preparation area, cabinetry, and placement of a new cooler.
