Riverview Commons
Salisbury, MD

September, 2014 Gillis Gilkerson broke ground on the old Feldman’s Furniture building in downtown Salisbury to replace the roof and reinforce the walls of the 15,000 square foot original structure. The initial phase of construction included the renovation of the existing facility and the addition of stair towers, an elevator and a common space, allowing for a total of 20,000 square feet.
Renovations converted the 19th century landmark into a multi-use building with available space for a restaurant, gallery, shops and offices and an outside deck and public river walk along the Wicomico River. Riverview Commons, LLC welcomed national tenant Morgan Stanley to fill an entire floor of the building and Acorn Market and Angello’s Unique Gifts moved into shared space on the first floor.
Riverview Commons, LLC principals, Dwight Miller, Palmer Gillis and J.B. Barnes is grateful to the team at Becker Morgan for their architectural services during the design phase of the renovation and Brad Gillis, CCIM of SVN, for his commercial real estate expertise in leasing the building space.
